An open mitt, the Ban Inoue Pot Holder’s oval shape is lightly padded and stitched with an outer rib in the centre, making it easier to fold over a pot handle. Its outer layer is cotton Japanese mosquito net muslin, a traditional craft textile of Nara
known for its absorbency and quick drying properties. Each one features a tightly woven, traditional Sanada-himo loop for hanging.
